The paracord that I use on my projects is 4mm, ´550 Paracord´ otherwise known as ´Paracord Type III´), made in the EU. It is 100% nylon and has 7 inner strands surrounded by the coloured sheath which gives each single piece of cord an amazing breaking strength in excess of 240kg (550lbs). There is a lot of paracord on the market but unfortunately, not all of the quality is equal, so I have added a link to the amazon products I recommend from my own experience. Either way, if you choose to go elsewhere, make sure to check the description to ensure it is nylon and not plastic polyester as nylon is more flexible and elastic, great for knotting.
